Early retirement because of the harsh work’s conditions.

When a worker has been exposed to one or several harshness factors, for a certain period, he can retire before the legal retirement age and is entitled to receive a full pension, if he fulfils any further conditions.

To have been exposed to harshness factors is not sufficient for early retirement : the individual must also have a partial permanent disability pension.
In case of after-effects, caused by an occupational accident or an occupational disease,  the victim is entitled to receive a partial permanent disability. The physician of Social Security set the rate for the partial permanent disability.

If the rate is higher than 20 percent, the individual can retire before the legal retirement age and  receive then a full pension without having to fulfil any further conditions.

If the rate is between 10 and 20 percent, the individual can retire before the legal retirement age and  receive then a full pension, only if he can prove he has been exposed at least 17 years to a harshness factor at work.
