When a worker has been exposed to one or several harshness factors, for a certain period, he can retire before the legal retirement age and is entitled to receive a full pension, if\u00a0he fulfils any further conditions.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To have been exposed to harshness factors is not sufficient for early retirement : the individual must also have a\u00a0partial permanent disability pension.<\/strong>
\nIn case of after-effects, caused by an occupational accident<\/a> or an occupational disease, <\/a>\u00a0the victim is entitled to receive a partial permanent disability. The physician of Social Security set the rate for the partial permanent disability.<\/p>\n

If the rate is higher than 20 percent<\/strong><\/span>, the individual\u00a0can retire before the legal retirement age and \u00a0receive then a full pension\u00a0without having to fulfil any further conditions.<\/p>\n

If the rate is between 10 and 20 percent<\/strong><\/span>,\u00a0the individual\u00a0can retire before the legal retirement age and \u00a0receive then a full pension, only if he can prove he has been exposed at least 17 years\u00a0to a harshness factor<\/a> at work.
