When the worker is underaged (under 18), the medical surveillance is necessary strenghtened so that he undergoes a medical examniation every 12 months or 24 months. The physician decides their frequency. \u00a0<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

When there is a\u00a0strenghtened medical supervision<\/strong>, the\u00a0pre-recruitment medical examination<\/a>\u00a0does take place\u00a0before the employee starts working<\/strong>\u00a0for the enterprise\u00a0and the\u00a0periodical medical checks<\/a>\u00a0takes place every 12 months or every 24 months : the\u00a0occupational doctor<\/a>\u00a0can decide to change the frequency of the medical examinations according to the recommendations for\u00a0good practices which are available in health at work<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Strenghtened medical supervision <\/a>is called “Surveillance m\u00e9dicale renforc\u00e9e<\/strong>” in French.<\/p>\n

In some occupational fields, night work is allowed for young workers<\/a> : according to the French labor Code, medical examination takes place every 6 months for an employee \u00a0who has a night work.<\/p>\n
