The reinstatement visit is compulsory after a maternity leave, within 8 days of return to work.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The medical examination of resumption of work has to take place in 8 days which follow the resumption of the work.\u00a0The employer has to contact the Occupational health service to book an appointment for this medical visit.<\/p>\n

This medical examination\u00a0 takes place within one week and ends the suspension of the contract of employment.<\/p>\n

The reinstatement visit<\/strong> after maternity leave is a\u00a0required medical check-up<\/p>\n

This medical examination estimates the capacity or not of the employee to\u00a0 take back his old employment<\/strong>, and if necessary, of the necessity of an adaptation of the working conditions.\u00a0The employer or the employee may contest the opinion delivered by the occupational physician : he has the right to an administrative appeal with the labour inspector.<\/p>\n
