It is the Pension insurance and health at work institution \u00a0( called in Frenc CARSAT, Caisse d&#8217;Assurance Retraite et de la Sant\u00e9 au Travail ) who gives it to the company. When the employer has a register of occupational accidents, when there is no sick leave or care\u00a0 after the occupational accident, the occupational accident must only be written down in the register of occupational accidents. Then, if sick leave or care are necessary for this occupational accident, the employer has to make the administrative formalities of declaration.<!--more--><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"#lien2\">The firm must meet certain conditions to obtain a register of occupational accidents <\/a><a href=\"#lien4\"><br \/>\nWhat must you note on the register ?<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"#lien5\">Pr\u00e9sentation of the register <\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"#lien6\"><br \/>\n<\/a> There is a <strong>pension insurance and health at work institution<\/strong> in every region in France (called \u00a0in French\u00a0<strong>CARSAT<\/strong>, Caisse d&#8217;Assurance Retraite et de la Sant\u00e9 au Travail) : it is a private body, which provide mission of public service. It guarantees to the retired people of the\u00a0 General Health and Social Security System\u00a0 the payment of their pensions. It participates, by granting financial supports, to improve the living conditions of the elderly or the disabled persons.It attempts to make better the safety in companies, by staying up with care of the regulations and by insuring\u00a0 a mission of permanent\u00a0 council.<\/p>\n<p>According to to the French social security Code, an employer may obtain a register of occupational accidents,<a href=\"http:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/affichCodeArticle.do?idArticle=LEGIARTI000006743087&amp;cidTexte=LEGITEXT000006073189&amp;dateTexte=20130112&amp;oldAction=rechCodeArticle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\"> article L 441-4<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"lien2\"><\/a>The firm must meet certain conditions to obtain a register of occupational accidents<\/h3>\n<p>It&#8217;s possible to have a register of occupational accidents, il there is whole time in the firm :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an occupational health physician,<\/li>\n<li>or a pharmacist,<\/li>\n<li>or a nurse,<\/li>\n<li>or an employeer who is in charge of the Hygiene and Safety prevention and is also first-aider.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>And if there is a first-aid station in the company.<\/p>\n<p>The employer must also meet his obligations, according to the French labor code, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/affichCodeArticle.do?idArticle=LEGIARTI000025579005&amp;cidTexte=LEGITEXT000006072050&amp;dateTexte=20130112&amp;oldAction=rechCodeArticle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">article\u00a0 L 4611-1<\/a> : a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.atousante.com\/en\/employer-obligations\/health-safety-working-conditions-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">health safety and \u00a0working conditions committee<\/a> is formed when there is at least 50 employees in the company.<\/p>\n<p>If these conditions are in place, the pension insurance and health at work institution sends a register of occupational accidents to the employer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bloc-important\">At the end of each year, the employer sends the register to\u00a0 the pension insurance and health at work institution, using a registered postal letter with an acknowledgement of receipt.<\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"lien4\"><\/a>What must you note on the register ?<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"bloc-important\">Only the occupational accidents without sick leave\u00a0 or care must be noted on the register.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>These data shall be noted :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>name of the victim,\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>the accident<strong> date<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>place <\/strong>of the accident,<\/li>\n<li><strong>the circumstances <\/strong>of the injury,<\/li>\n<li>the nature and the location of injuries,<\/li>\n<li><strong>name and signature <\/strong>of the person who provided cares.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The victim has to sign the register.<\/p>\n<h3><a name=\"lien5\"><\/a>Pr\u00e9sentation of the register<\/h3>\n<p>The register must be submitted to several contacts :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>agents of <strong>social security<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li>agents of <strong>Labour Inspectorate,<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>accident <strong>victim<\/strong> ( when accident is noted on the register)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.atousante.com\/en\/employer-obligations\/health-safety-working-conditions-committee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">health safety and \u00a0working conditions committee<\/a>\u00a0( when there are at least 50 employees in the firm) or staff representatives\u00a0 ( when there is fewer employees in the company).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block;\" data-ad-format=\"autorelaxed\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-0750569393293663\" data-ad-slot=\"5074976718\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0You can also read the following posts :<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.atousante.com\/en\/occupational-accidents\/occupational-accidents-definition\/occupational-accident-commuting-definition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Occupational accidents, commuting accidents : definitions<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.atousante.com\/en\/occupational-accidents\/occupational-accidents-definition\/severity-rate-work-related-accidents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Severity rate for work-related accidents<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.atousante.com\/en\/occupational-accidents\/occupational-accidents-definition\/frequency-rate-index-work-related-accidents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Frequency rate, frequency index for work-related accidents<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\" href=\"Every company&#039;s manager employing 50 or more people is required to establish a health, safety and working conditions committee.
