The employer is not allowed to measure himself.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>According to the French labor code, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.legifrance.gouv.fr\/affichCodeArticle.do;jsessionid=D25E408898FFDFBE7C60EDE34E7B5E5B.tpdjo03v_2?idArticle=LEGIARTI000018530799&amp;cidTexte=LEGITEXT000006072050&amp;dateTexte=20120814&amp;categorieLien=id\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">article R4412-61 ,<\/a>\u00a0the employer must check regularly the <strong>levels of exposure of\u00a0CMR<\/strong>, Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, Reprotoxic agents,\u00a0and hazardous chemical agents in \u00a0working area ( in\u00a0worker&#8217;s breathing zone).<\/p>\n<p>They are the responsibility of the employer and must take place at least once a year.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Occupational Exposure Levels (OELs)\u00a0are available for CMR, Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, Reprotoxic agents\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Occupational Exposure Levels (OELs)\u00a0for CMR<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indicatives values\u00a0<\/strong>for certain \u00a0CMR : it is allowed to exceed them.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Regulatory values<\/strong> for other CMR<strong>\u00a0:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0it is forbidden to exceed them and only a recognised organisation measures the levels of exposure ( the employer is not allowed).
